Time again for another in my infrequent series - Top 10 songs played on my iPod:-
1. Futureheads - Hounds Of Love
2. Interpol - Slowhands
3. Ultramagnetic MCs - Travelling At The Speed Of Thought
4. Belle & Sebastian - I'm A Cuckoo
5. Blink 182 - The Rock Show
6. Bloodhound Gang - The Bad Touch
7. Ministry - Jesus Built My Hotrod
8. Bruce Springsteen - Thunder Road
9. The Clash - Janie Jones
10. The Go-Go's - Vacation
All stuff picked at on shuffle, which means my iPod thinks it is some sort of XFM/Radio 2 hybrid
Worked 42 out of 72 hours over the weekend; feel like death warmed up today but it's pay day, I've got a pile of DVDs that are crying out to be watched, coffee and bacon ready to go, and cakes to be baked this afternoon (don't diss my relaxing pass times? baking is good for the mind, body and soul).
Speaking of work, I think I am finally getting over my convictions they'll never hire me ever again (I work on a freelance basis in the main). Work is coming in quite regularly now and the bank balance has recovered from the terminal nosedive it was taking this time last year. Will probably treat myself to the Bloc Party album and the first season of Alias on DVD (going cheap at Virgin, people - 20!) as a personal slap on the back for work well done.

I love the futureheads, thought I was the only one!
