Back from my travels - four days in Venice to take in some culture and some carnival. Lovely weather - cold but sunny all the time. All the relaxing and cheeriness embued by the holiday was wiped out yesterday in one fell swoop when I came down with a lurgee-and-then-some, which had me thanking the architect who put our toilet so near our barh

Suffice to say today I am gingerly sipping lemondade and eating digestives ever-so carefully.
