Not much happening of late, hence much in the way of a blog - never really been one for detailing every ever-so emo moment for the great and the good; must be something to do with my stiff upper lip

I can't believe it's almost Christmas again; when I was younger a year would seem like an age, now I whip through months at a rate of knots that is almost frightening. The past 17 or so years (since leaving school, perhaps that's the key) are you whoooooooooooosh. Anyways, yes, Christmas - which means the annual shopping trip to the US (Boston for a change... hotel prices in NY that dipped after 9/11 are back on the up) and sorting out holidays at work (don't ask; I've worked more than my fair sure of Christmas days over the past decade) and then digging out all the sparkly festive bits and pieces from tops of wardrobes.

Oh, and my fourpenneth on the whole Nana hoo-haa; you can't' believe in freedom of speech and liberal values only when it suits you... I didn't care for the set, I thought it was in poor taste and that it should have been knocked back by the SG powers-that-be, but pulling it off the site because of an uproar leaves me a little sad. Censorship is a slippery slope; the best intentions don't always have the best outcome.
