and that's nearly the end of Summer. It has rained almost non-stop this year - I really can't remember the last time the summer weather has been so crappy. It's not been cold; just wet and humid Still, my umbrella gives me an air of English gentleman as I walk down the street 
What else is new? Not a lot; finished the new William Gibson book; very good (as ever) - I like the fact he's shifted everything in to the almost present, and yet it doesn't seem radically different from the future he was predicting way back when. My mobile phone is about the size of a bar of soap, and I can watch TV on it, surf the internet properly, take pics, listen to music - heck, it even makes phone calls. All I need is a bit more neon everywhere and I'll be sorted...
Trying to make headway with Pokemon on my DS too; but I've not had the time to sit down and give it a good hammering. Now the house is finally sorted, touch wood I might get some 'me' time to catch 'em all.
Catching up with music too; listening to stuff I bought and didn't really give a chance, and new stuff-a-plenty... The new Super Furry Animals is ace, catching up the last Bloc Party, found the last Burt Bacharach album when I was unpacking (don't knock it; one track featuring loops by Dr Dre and singing from Rufus Wainwright is amazing!)

this has been the oddest summer weather wise in my life. i don't think we have hit 100 degrees yet, which is just unheard of here. not really complaining, but the humidity can fuck right off, please and thank you. i am sure you and your umbrella look quite debonair.
