Been an odd sort of week. A friend of mine died on Monday suddenly so I've been dwelling on life, the universe and everything a bit. It's slightly odd in that I knew him through my first forays in the world of internet communities and messageboards. It's been almost seven years of messing about with the net now, and chipping in my fourpenneth wherever it took my fancy, and the Rev Goatboy (as he was known to the masses) was one of the first people I met. He always had time for people, and could talk bollocks and common sense at the same time, had some fantastic stories about Motorhead and some unrepeatable ones about politicans. The last time I saw him (in the flesh) for a good natter was about two or three years ago when we saw AC/DC - it was a very drunken day

Anyways, it's his funeral today - I'm not going - but I shall raise a pint to him afterwork. This one's for you, chap!
