Busy(ish) weekend - most of Saturday was spent at the Ben & Jerry Summer Sundae shindig in town; lots of bands and lots of free ice cream... what's not to love?



Most of the bands were ok - the sound was fucking awful with the wind whipping it away - but special mention must go The Rumble Strips (who appear to be channeling Dexy's Midnight Runners; no bad thing) and The Feeling - who had to contend with various and numerous techincal hoo-haas but still managed to ROCK...



and then we ambled home. Sunday was spent trying to sort out the house before the midget returned from his week in Wales; didn't get very far and now the place looks like an explosion in the Thomas the Tank Engine factory; not a lot of imagination on the birthday present from there...

Finished Harry Potter; liked the ending (well certainly bits of it, including the twist...) - I hope she doesn't cop out in a few years time and try and write some more... the characters have all been wrapped up nicely and they should leave it at that...

Of course, if you're an absolute cunt and want to get murdered on the underground, may I suggest this T-shirt? (REALLY big spoilers, so if you're planning on reading the book, or are still reading, don't blame me...)
