The joys of parenthood - worrying about schools for the kids even though he is not even two yet. The local 'good' school had it's Summer fun day (anything but...!) this weekend so we had to traipse down as a family and smile and be happy and push the midget forward as a shining beacon of all things right and good in the world. I like to think I'm a really good dad but I'm worried I'm going to be a terrible parent because within about 10 minutes of arriving at this place I was gritted teeth and grrrrr! to the upteenth degree. Nothing - and again I realise that I'll succumb to this one day - is worse than smug pushy parents who would stab you fifteen zillion times in the back if it meant little jeremy of fiona got a milimetre ahead of your offspring in the grand scheme of things.
