I go away for a couple of weeks and it's all change - and not for the better. Not sure I like the new style site at all... but you lovely people are all the same, so I'll muddle through!
I've not been away or off or doing anything wildly exciting, I've just been nose to the grindstone at work - the World Cup means I've got X number of things that need to be cropped, tweaked, edited, checked and sorted everyday, and I've not had the time for anything else. From a fan's POV, England are through to the next round but are playing like shit - no joy, no cosistency and will probably get knocked out by the first decent team they meet, which could well be Germany - eeep!
Went to see Primal Scream last week; absolutely stunning - best gig I've been to in years. Good mix of classics and old stuff - You might Country Girl is terrible twaddle, but live it's a monster.
Other stuff to recommend - The Feeling (Might be AOR, but it's an album full of great songs, so *rrrrasps*), The Automatic and Fatboy Slim best of... you might have the albums, but it's all the single versions, plus Cornershop and Groove Armada tracks. Pity they didn't include The Beastie Boy's Body Movin' too.
