Cheers for all the cover version suggestions and memory joggers; myself, I should have remembered The Futureheads' Hounds of Love, William Shatner's version of Common People (no, really - it's fantastic!) and a version of Smell Like Teen Spirit that is on a CD called Rock Baby: lots of rocking tunes done in a plinky-plonky nursery style for kids.

As the sun decided to put in an appearance I went down to Brighton for a mooch on Saturday. Was lovely and sunny, but still with a bit of a nip in the air (and indeed, lots of nips around generally - ladies, the sun may be out but if you are going to wear vest tops watch out for that breeze: it was chapel peg city biggrin ).

Not normally one given to OOH OOH OOH CELEB! type shenanigans (because I'm on-so cool and London, innit) but even I did a double-take when confronted by Dwight Yorke pushing his & Jordan's son Harvey down the road.

Americans and people with taste; you are probably not aware of either Jordan or her son... He's about three or four years old and is MASSIVE. I mean bloody enormous; pictures in Heat do not do this child justice. It's like going to New York for the first time; you can't get a sense of scale until confronted with it. Yes, yes, yes... I am aware that the child does have medical problems but HE WAS HUGE.

Anyways, enough about that... Hope you are all well and good - let's see what this week brings, eh?
