Have spent the past week or so organising and sorting out the finer points of my son's christening. I'm not a big church bod, but I'm not going to shoot down anyone else's beliefs, and certain sections of the family were keen (and it's an excuse for a party!) so I have been cleaning, cooking, entertaining, organising taxis, hotels, etc, etc. and it all went off without a hitch on Sunday. Obviously I'm a little biased but he was the best baby in the church, and was a was a little star all afternoon when faced with a barrage of relatives from Ireland and Wales. Being a dad is bloody hard work, but when he is a little ball of smiling wonder it makes it all worthwhile.
I stand corrected; I thought the Planet Earth music was by the BBC orchestra; turns out it is by Sigur Ros after all - so if you haven't got a copy of Takk yet, you really should.

Hopefully I'll feel better soon though. FOund out today that my study-abroad program in London is going to work out after all.. so I'll be in the UK for two weeks this summer. Once my headache goes away I should be able to feel properly excited about it.
THanks for the comment.. and I'll ttyl.
