Listening to Belly this morning; that's the joy of trying to fill up a new(ish - about 2 months old now) MP3 player - once you've done all the latest stuff, and the old classics, you listen to stuff that you realise you love but had forgotten about or just didn't think about.
I used to have an ipod mini; never again with the Apple - the sound was shite, the battery needed charging every other day (an hour each way to work) and only a 1,000 or thereabouts songs. It sounds like quite a lot until you hit the 1K mark - and then it's endless dilemmas about what gets the chop. Now I'm a proud owner of a Creative Zen Vision M thingy I've got a fairly hefty lump of my record collection in my pocket at all times, and it's FAB! Who knows when I might want to listen to Buffalo Tom, or an Orbital remix of EMF, or the Theme from The Six Million Dolllar Man, or The Carpenters, or Be Your Own Pet? Now they are all there waiting.
I need suggestions for a good noise for my mobile phone SMS (text message) alert... I've had MP3s of The Clangers and R2D2 for the past eight months or so, and I crave something new and exciting... Stuck Animal Crossing tune on as a ringtone - now that's some chilled out melody

I love it when something I wasn't expecting and hadn't heard in ages turns up on my mp3 player, it's like an unexpected bonus
