Aww man, you don't know Canter's?? It's one of the oldest restaurants in LA and has supposedly only been closed once since the 30s (earthquake). It's on Fairfax, north of Beverly on the west side of the street.

It's an incredibly overrated old-skool jewish deli, but it's open 24hrs, and is a good place to freak-watch late at night. It is actually the reason that we have the letter grade rating system from the dept. of health. They were the subject of a tv expose on health code violations in the southland. The report got SO much attention thta the board of health implemented this new rating system we now enjoy. You know 'A', 'B', god forbid 'C', etc.
Nice, huh?

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy....at The Derby. I saw them last night!! I hung out with them backstage b4 the show!! I've wanted to see them for years! It was simply fantastic! Great show. They sound EXACTLY the way you've heard them on the CD. Really high energy! Great crowd and beautiful tattooed women too...

I ran away for the weekend. Drove down to San Diego on Friday. Had a bbq at Ocean Beach Friday afternoon, partied at a friend's house that night and tried a Hooka (sp?) for the first time. It was apple flavored. I enjoyed it.
