I'm very happy! I really had to concentrate to keep up with his political commentry, I ordered three pints at the bar, was given five but only charged for three! Woo, free beer!
Had a good weekend in general, went to jilly's on sat for some reason, but ended up having a great time, the music was great, for a change. Misfits, Dead Kennedys, Ramones, Metallica, (old)Machine head, Sepultura, did I mention Misfits, 'ray!
Ooh, and I got a new guitar, I've called it bertie! Its a red peavey telecaster style thing, with a humbucker at the bridge and a piezo pickup so it can sound like an acoustic, I'm so chuffed with it, not bad getting 70 quid off for staff discount. I'm gonna post a picture of it at some point, yes I know thats really sad, but I get paid to be a guitar geek, so there
Speaking of which, I'm due a meeting with a company director to discuss giving me a nice fat payrise, oh yes. More boringly, have to go to a rock n' roll meeting tomorrow, so I have a chance to speak up about what stuff I want, to be told I cant have it. Yawn.
Anyhow, I'm even more happy now, just caught some vintage metallica on tv, Cliff was the man!
