It's been ages since my last update, sorry folks!!!!

End of semester reviews coming up...aaaaarrrrrrggggggghhhh! I feel like I have very little work, all of it seems to be work that I have only refined in some way. Take my paintings for example, I think they are finished...but I thought that ages ago! I feel like nothing is ever finished!

I do like where my work is going tho'. In one of my latest critiques I was told to render everything to a similar level, even though the compositions are referencing both cartoon and classical: the rendering is only part of the parcel and not the complete signifier. Food for thought but it works for me.

Went to Baltimore for colloquium at the weekend!!! Yay! Really happening area, way better feel to it than DC. Really authentic with people who really care about what they do. I don't think I've met that much in DC, not often. I think I'd like to try to move there once I graduate in May. We'll see!

Been asked to do theory again, not sure it's really worth my sanity! Not bad money! It could give me the pennies to get away for a bit and concentrate on my applications for jobs and residencies.
