So last night I went to the premiere of George A. Romero's Survival Of The Dead with Romero present for the viewing.
He was there to receive a prize from the FNC (Festival du Nouveau Cinma).
Unfortunately the movie was pretty shite and Romero has resorted to parody instead of biting satire.
Guess I should balme the glut of zombie flicks these last years.

Your description of Os Mutantes' show is both hilarious and sad. Too bad it went down like that!
Did you talk to Diamanda, or were you happy to just notice her enjoying the show? (I still can't get over how genuinely *nice* she is, you should really speak to her if you ever get the chance.) Her set was stunning, intense, emotional. I literally had my breath taken away at certain moments. We called her back three times. She didn't really speak, apart from saying "merci," and to reply in Greek to some dude who screamed "Skotseme!" (Seems she gets lots of Greek weirdos in Montreal.)
