'Tis the season to spread holiday love and kindness. These topics have been recently surfacing around SG, it has really got me thinking of those within this community that I am thankful for. Those who I have made close real life friendships with, those who always show me love here on SG and those who show me love beyond here. That is really the best gift a creator could ask for... love, support and engagement.
To start my list of love, I'd like to first thank @missy for accepting me as a hopeful and again as an official. For creating an amazing community to be involved with, a place one can connect with like minded people and truly be yourself. Without those 2 bases, I would not have the remainder of my list of mentions, like the close friends I've made.
My first, in real life connection I made was with @lunalavendre. While making a family trip to her area, we planned to meet up and shoot. There I shot my debut SOTD, Wanna Hang?, and my duo set with Luna, 'Til The Last Drop'Til The Last Drop. Moments I'll never forget. They were not only bonding moments for us as friends but a large marker for my SG journey.
My girl @zorii has been so great since I met her. It was really nice to have an SG friend in my state that understood what it was like in this community. Someone I could relate to. She's she fun to go on road trips with and I was fortunate enough to witness a very magical day in her personal life that I will never forget. Someone I will be there for and will be there for me!
Next would have to be @trilla & @courage. I say them together as a duo but if you know them, you know they are both really good friends and have hosted numerous shoot fests which have provided a safe space for models to create content for our platforms. I have been lucky enough to attend a few of their events and have shot several of my SG sets in those settings and I am so grateful for that. They so supportive and 2 people I know I could tell anything to without judgement. And let's not forget to mention, the amazing sets we've done together - Netflix & Chill, Life's A Picnic, and Dahlia (shot by Courage).
Now as far as 2 complete and total sweethearts go... @ivee & @niffler are at the top of that list. If you need a ear to listen and soft spoken, kind words of encouragement, these 2 are your babes. Ivee is beyond creative and working with her is always a dream come true. She's a hard working from editing, to making flyers, she makes working with her a breeze. Niffler is such a light and her sets, SLAY! She shot, The Farmer's Daughter & Life's A Picnic. Blessed to have worked with and met them both!
My 2 other favorite SG photographers I've had the pleasure of working with would have to be @autumn & @sunshine. Both are bright lights with beautiful souls. And lets me honest... have you seen the sets we shot!?!? Just WOW! I had the pleasure of helping Autumn get her first SOTD as a photographer with, Morning Vibes, then we got another with Ethereal. Autumn captured 2 very different looks and auras for these sets, and fun fact, they were shot in the same tiny house!! If that's not skills, I don't know what is! Then we have the ever so lovely, Sunnie! She has always been on my bucket list of souls to cross paths with and people to work with but it was even better than expected. She helped bring to life a vision I worked really hard on in our set, Thirst Trap. She's so positive, uplifting and sweet. Just an amazing soul all around.
Now, onto some of my favorite site members... because, lets be honest, they deserve as much love as we do! Without them, SGs and Hopefuls could not do what they do here. We wouldn't have this platform to connect and create! Without them this place would be not be full of cheer, not just this holiday season, but everyday! My personal favorites... @emanuel, I genuinely don't know who else is so supportive of so many SGs and Hopefuls on and off site. You can always count on him to comment, pop in on a live or even help you mod your streams sometimes. @hotdoguk is always active and constantly tagging models, engaging with blogs, threads and sets. And honorable mentions @juanofsix & @kingofcool who I can always count on a comment from.
Reading this back and realizing how blessed I am to have been able to write so much. I am so loved and supported within this community and I cannot thank you all enough for being a part of it! Now there are so so so sooooo many more names I could tag. Past supporters, other beautiful models I've crossed paths with, but I'd have to write a book. I promise I have not, and never will forget you. This journey is one I will always cherish! Happy Holidays!
