got back from mates of state not too long ago. (well of course i had to go to steak and shake after. cheese fries will be the death of me.)

apparently this was an all highschool show? haha. i dunno what was up with the drunken unicr0n. for reals, the_piranja was maybe one of three people over twenty-one there. bizarre. i guess i shouldn't hate on all the dorky little kids, cos i'm sure someone thought i was one at one time. but still. they're so annoying.

a band from cleveland called the the love kill opened. i enjoyed it. sorta spastic garage rock. a la nation of ulysses. good for babypolygon to flip out to. i think they scared the little kiddies. "buh? too much rock for my virgin ears."

the second band was called bishop allen. apparently all the kiddies like em. they were hacks. the singer looks like julian lennon. every song sounded vaguely familiar. it was like i was watching one of those infomercials, "all your favourite songs of the sixties in one collection." bah.

the mates were awesomeness as per usual. kori rocked out her pregnant self all over the place. it was hawt. so was i whilst dancing my ass off. \m/.

i'm so tired. need to wake up for work tomorrow. i mean today. dammit. don't really care to go chasing shoplifters around all day again. pony tail crew was back yesterday. what fun. i'm getting sick of this, for reals. but it's jeans day tomorrow. and that's supposed to make me happy? whatevs.
