slowly but surely, today (yesterday i guess if you want to be picky, nerd) won me over.

around four-thirty pm i decided i had marinated in my own juices for long enough. i just had to de-skankify with a nice long shower. i had no idea how much better this simple action could truly make me feel. i feel alive, rejuvenated; my libido for life turned up to eleven.

at the beckoning of h, i motored over to see if we could discover some fun. i have her and k to thank for what feels like this new lease on life right now. heh. i can never tell how depressed i really get until i finally come out of it.

we played crass amounts of ddr. and i got to witness the glory that is the eyetoy. maybe i'm just easily amused, but i care not. we then took a trip to kroger and found even more ingredients to fun. h and i made the most adorable little baklava creations. instead of the labor-intensive layering of the philo dough we opted to modify this recipe and went for the little philo shells, resembling cupcake papers. i think i shall name this deliciosity "baklava cupcakes."

thanks to h, i am back on track to becoming a domestic/digital goddess. mwahaha.
