We are sorely overdue for some social time with the friends. So we will be hitting the usual Thursday destination tonight for some salad and drinks. And possibly tater tots. ARRR!!!

We move in a week. Eeeeee! I guess I should start packing, huh?

Today we return the young one to Seattle. We half entertained the thought of staying overnight and going to see the Fruit Bats at Chop Suey (I think it was the Fruit Bats), but seeing as how we need to save all of our pennies for the next few months, such a splurge would be unwise.

What if war were declared and no one showed?

Replace the word "war" with "bbq" and you have yesterday. Well, almost no one showed. Hippomonki and Ballard made it, and a few non-SG friends, and my mom! We had delicious meats and drinks, and for once, still have some New Deal left over. Even if the gathering was small, I still had a great day....

The better half is currently on his way to Seattle to pick up his prodigious offspring, who we will have for the next three weeks. Elliot can now ride his bike sans training wheels, which means he'll have lots of fun riding around the cement enclosure that used to be a pond at the park.
