Okay. I've been a member of MySpace for approximately 5 days now. I've slowly been amassing a list of genuine friends (read: those I've actually met in real life or people from here that I know are cool but just live too damn far away).

When I logged on tonight, I had 100 friend requests*. 100. And not a single person I would ever...

I've always been quite popular among people, to whom I would not give the time of fucking day.

You're too cute for words. biggrin kiss

I've noticed there are some people who gravitate towards the default Top 8 for whatever reason, I'm guessing maybe newness or Top-8ness may affect friend request frequency? Skin certainly doesn't hurt though.

My hair continues to grow. The lighting in my bathroom is a bit intense, isn't it? Hmmm.

Also, I joined MySpace, and it's confusing me. I don't like being confused by websites. confused

Yah, not a lot of people find me on there.. It's like I'm trying to hide the music I release, or something.

Yeah, it was decidedly awkward, but I kinda figured it would be. Tonight I'm going for something even more scary (to me anyway), we'll see how that goes.

Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishing! I do so love the balloon feature on here, it makes me feel extra-special for my day. love

Friday's party was lots of fun. Great turnout, people love our new house, and our friend Stan charmed the crowd with his musical stylings. I had a great time.

My actual birthday was spent just sitting at home in blissful...

Yeah, I can definitely see why Stan is a person to always have at parties. smile What'd you finally decide on for the restaurant?
hansel:
I love eating. But I have a limited range of places I go. Sigh.

Every year, I am continually amazed by the rapid passage of time. Here I am, already facing 27. I don't feel old, I'm not stressing out about approaching 30, and I'm not worried about wrinkles or anything stupid like that. I just don't feel like time should be going by this quickly.

Oh well. Time to party! biggrin

So I read this little article in the NY Times that made me want to scream at it. Except that I was at work and that would have looked unprofessional. It was about the Conservatives and Republicans holding up March of the Penguins as a shining example of monogamy and family values. They even went so far as to say that since evolution and global...

Well, no BRMC tickets for me. I knew it would be sold out, as I've yet to see a show of theirs that wasn't packed. frown I console myself by thinking of the scene tomorrow, the place jammed with hipsters who would do nothing but annoy me anyway. It's better this way, really.

Although I would have loved to hear them sing the stripped-down new stuff....

Check you email from this site - I posted an add on craigslist for tickets and got several responses. I forwarded the one I didn't use on to you.

Slowly but surely, daylight is slipping away. I'm not ready for it to be gone. I'm not ready for the rain, the dark, the cold. Although our new house is damn cozy, and should serve us well this winter.

The new BRMC is pretty damn cool. A bit heavy on the Jesus, a bit repetitive on the "line" lines, but I love it nonetheless. They...

I think the new BRMC is a masterpiece - from the first listen. I love the new direction, and they totally stayed "them."

Ahhh another Portland female BRMC fan - wanna be friends?

The all-important little pills arrived yesterday in the midst of our move. So, all is well, no babies for me.

Everything went swimmingly yesterday. We had two friends who were awesome enough to help us move, one of them being the illustrious hippomonki, who really should start a service and charge people for her time and expertise. The woman is a moving MACHINE.

We...

That sort of conversation in what happens when you wait too long to ask me what I was just talking about. 2 minutes later, and I'd completely forgotten I'd said anything - I thought he was asking about the people stomping up the stairwell.

Fuck.

In all of the moving madness, it slipped my mind to refill a prescription. A rather important one that involves taking tiny pills to keep away the possibility of offspring. It runs out on Sunday. Fuck fuck fuck fuck.

I ordered the refill today. Maybe I'll get lucky and it will only take a few days to get here? It's a mail order refill...
