Today we return the young one to Seattle. We half entertained the thought of staying overnight and going to see the Fruit Bats at Chop Suey (I think it was the Fruit Bats), but seeing as how we need to save all of our pennies for the next few months, such a splurge would be unwise.

Nope, insurance won't cover this. I've only got the basic liability insurance. I'm gonna call and check anyway, but I think I'm on my own for this one.
