It kind of pisses me off when I hear people say that the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a remake of that other movie that came out in the 70s and whose only redeeming quality was Gene Wilder. It is not. It is a re-adaptation of the book done correctly, with the only singing being from the Oompa Loompas. I for one thought this one was awesome. Johnny Depp was brilliant, and just a little on the creepy side. Classic Tim Burton. I want to see it again!
Oh, and I haven't been on much because my laptop is currently in pieces, awaiting a new part, so I'm using EnergyChannel's computer, with its weird ergonomic keyboard. I keep making typos.

I'm trying to come out sometime in August--I'm going to get busy here in the fall and besides I loooove Portland summer.
