It's been a fun weekend so far. Last night we attended someone's 40th birthday party where our friends the Stan McMahon band were playing. It had been awhile since I had heard Stan, and they put on a really good show, considering it was in someone's basement and all. The birthday girl's house was so beautiful, a restored early 1900s style with cool architectural details and a simple design. Not to mention the finished basement that doubled as a practice space for her band. I only pray to be that awesome when I'm 40.
Today the three of us are just relaxing at home, preparing for some errands later involving dropping off some stuff at the Goodwill, and perhaps a trip to Powell's. I'm hoping tonight will be somewhat calm, as I'll need to store up sleep like a camel for the next few days.
My new haircut makes me look like Susie Derkins from Calvin & Hobbes, although others just call it "pixie-ish." I guess that's a good thing.
Gmail has granted me six more invites, in case there is a soul left on the planet who does not yet have a gmail account. Send me your email address if interested.

I like your new haircut. I am trying to be brave enough to cut mine like I have always wanted, but it's getting cold here and I king of like the extra warmth.
