Well, that real world mentioned in my last entry had the courtesy to caress us with the delicacy of a mack truck the morning after we returned from Sunriver. EnergyChannel's phone rang while we were still in bed. It was his boss, requesting that he come in the shop to discuss something. That something ended up being a layoff, of sorts, as EnergyChannel is no longer head offsite tech, and thus makes practically no money now. Sooo, now we're BOTH looking for jobs! Yay! 
I'm also realizing the importance of buzzwords on resumes, as I've had exactly zero calls from any of the jobs I've applied for since May. So, Operation Revamp Resume is underway. I hate the bullshit that comes with selling yourself to a potential employer, but the game must be played, so I will don my pads and gloves, and head on in.
In other news, hippomonki rules for helping me be one of the cool kids with my brand new Gmail account.
No idea why I'd need that much space, but I feel just a little more elite for having one.
My birthday is in 11 days. They just get more anticlimactic every year, it seems. I'll be officially in my late 20s, which is the time when you're supposed to be on some sort of career path, right? I need to figure that one out one of these days.
