Sigh. So I was laid off today, effective May 3. Sure, this sucks, but you know what sucks in an extra bonus way? This is the second position I've been in at this office that has been eliminated. You'd think I would have learned my lesson the first time. Damn nonprofits and their lack of money.

Time to move on, I guess. I hope I can at least get unemployment for a bit. Fuck. I hate the job search process.

I had a really great weekend, too. This was a sucky start to the week.

Metric tonight. They should be fun. Definitely help to cheer me up.

I have three weeks of sick time, which I can't cash in. Part of me really just wants to call in sick for the next three weeks, but I won't, because I'm somewhat professional. Pissed, but professional.

Now going to the cabin this weekend doesn't seem quite as alluring. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.

I must admit that listening to the Magnetic Fields does help a bit, though.
