Cracker's all better now. Just as I had hoped, the mechanics from Bridgetown Automotive not only came to the house and picked up my car, they brought it back to me later that morning. No charge for any of it.

Big sigh of relief, feeling of cautious optimism about having the car for years to come.

Dad and stepmom arrive for a visit on Thursday. It should be a great weekend of family and food. I'm so looking forward to it.
