I got to try out the studded tires in real weather yesterday, since my work was dumb and open. They performed pretty well, except for a tiny bit of spin when I was starting from a dead stop. Slow and steady worked well, even if assholes behind me were impatient. Hey buddy in the SUV with no traction devices, some of us don't want to end up on the side of the road, dug into the hillside.

We are supposed to leave for Eureka on Friday, but with the amount of snow, ice and rain, I'm not so sure. We are keeping an eye on the weather, and if we get a window, we may even leave tomorrow. If we have to stay overnight in Grants Pass, it wouldn't be the end of the world. I just want to get out of here before the next storm hits on Saturday. I hope it all works out.
