We've returned from Eureka. It hardly seemed like we were gone, the days went by so quickly. It was a great visit with the fam, and although the weather pretty much sucked the whole time, it didn't matter. The sun was out on the drive down, so EnergyChannel got some beautiful shots of the sun over the ocean near sunset.

The drive back yesterday was a bit harrowing. We encountered snow on 199 around Grants Pass, which continued up I5 for the next hour. We saw a pickup truck flipped on the side of the highway, although it didn't look too damaged, besides being upside down and all. I had the studded tires, so we were fine, cruising along and cursing the semi trucks when they would try to pass each other. I hate it when they do that.

Now that we're back, it's time to clean the house. It looks kind of like materialistic homeless people have been squatting here, full of cardboard boxes and our new Christmas presents. We got a kickass vacuum cleaner from my dad, so we're actually looking forward to vacuuming! Yes, we're weird.

Counterfeit Cash tonight at Produce Row. It's cold outside and that's an outdoor venue, so we'll see. Maybe they move the musicians inside in the winter? Fingers crossed that that's the case.

It's good to be home.
