Thankfully, my rapidly receding cold did not keep us from two holiday parties last night. We first hit up the SGPDX party at the always lovely atomicant's house. We got to hang with many of SGPDX's finest, and gobbled down every bit of food that was laid in front of us. Due to the cold, I stuck with ice water, but you guys drinking real stuff sure looked like you were having fun. I'm not much for the drinking though, which makes me a good match for my Irish mate. I'm pretty sure one of the reasons he loves me so much is my willingness to always be the DD. 
We left to hit up party #2, a former member's housewarming/holiday party, and got to see even more people we hadn't seen in awhile. More food was consumed, and I got to pet the softest kitty cat in the entire world. So adorable.
It was totally worth sounding like a dying frog by the end of the night. Luckily, I don't need to talk to anyone today. Having a voice is overrated anyway.
