Day three of calling in sick. Sorry, workplace. I promise I'm not a slacker, I just now have a sniffly, achy, and crackly voice that nobody should have to hear. Plus, as a bonus I apparently look like death warmed over! Yay me.
I was so hopeful today, too. I woke up early, took a shower, even dried the hair. Then I sat down and resumed coughing and blowing my nose and making my eyes water. EnergyChannel looked at me and said "They're going to send you home anyway." So, here I sit, on the couch for day three. At least I have nice hair for my day on the couch. Why do I always get sick right around Christmas? It's really not that stressful of a time for me. Why is my immune system so grinchy?
Fingers crossed that I don't give it to anyone else.
