I just don't have much to say these days. I'm still not quite sure why I joined back up, other than the great deal and all. I guess I really am just a sucker for bargains. It's sad, though, that so many people have left/are leaving, and I can't seem to handle the boards long enough to meet any of the newer crowd. Are any of them worth meeting? Meeting in the internet sense, of course. Not like, IRL-type meeting.
The house needs cleaning. The laundry needs doing. The gym needs attending. My old gym moved, and is now all corporate and high tech and bright lights. 5-level parking structure, and it overlooks Costco. So I can watch Costco's vast parking lot while I stretch. I can swear and hunt for parking for an extra ten minutes during the week. Soon, I'll probably even be able to bite and scratch my way into a pilates class that will likely be filled with waaay too many people. Fun.
Maybe it's time to buy those Winsor pilates DVDs with some leftover Christmas money. It would be a win-win, because I bet I'd vacuum my living room more often if I was going to be spreading out my mat and exercising on the floor. Plus, you know, the exercise itself would be good.
The students come back on Monday. It will be nice to be busy at work again. I'm curious what my next paycheck will look like, since I got a raise this month. I actually got upgraded to the next level of staff, which is usually really hard to do, so that just proves how awesome I am, right? Yay me.
Okay, shiny new gym with your mill of aerobic machines. It's time for me to become a cog and burn off some winter poundage. Let the hunt for a parking space begin!
