We leave in a little bit for Eureka. This cold has more or less kicked my ass, and I've stayed home the last two days, blowing my nose and sneezing because I'm blowing my nose too much. My eyes keep watering and I generally look like shit, just in time for Christmas photos with the family! All in all, though, it could be worse. EnergyChannel has graciously offered to drive, since one sneeze from me might send us careening off the road, and my mom is coming along, so she can be another driver, and I can pick up the slack on the return trip.

I'm hoping to be done with this damn sickness by the end of today, as I really don't want to infect any loved ones, and I want to have a nice mini-vacation with my honey. Wish me luck, everyone.

And, if I don't make it on here again before Christmas, have a merry one. If you don't celebrate Christmas, I hope you at least get the day off work. Enjoy, be safe, and stay healthy. We'll be back in Portland on Tuesday.
