Ahhh, the weekend. It seemed like a long week at work, even though it was only four days and the semester doesn't even officially start until this Monday. A flurry of last-minute projects and crises to settle, before the students return.

In the midst of my relaxation today, I broke in one of my Christmas presents. My dad got me one of those big exercise balls, so I just spent a very entertaining hour trying to not fall off the damn thing while carefully following the list of instructions. It's a great workout though, and it saved me the trouble of having to leave the house and drag my ass to the gym. Yuck, people. Yuck, outside world.

Harold is quite scared of the big red ball, though. This is good, because I'm tired of him knocking me over when I do my yoga in the living room. Nothing like the sudden shock of fur when you're in downward dog.
