Today is the last day of my vacation, and it has been a great one. Lots of time spent with my dad, New Year's Eve spent with my best friend, and every last cent of my Christmas money, well, spent. 
My friends who came up for the weekend left this morning, and that is what made the vacation officially feel over. This one last day will be spent unwinding, probably doing laundry, and trying to remember what it's like to get up every morning and go to work.
Still, some residual sadness to work through. Hopefully my friends will hurry up and move their asses to Portland, so at least I don't have to miss them all the time. Le sigh.
