Okay. I've been a member of MySpace for approximately 5 days now. I've slowly been amassing a list of genuine friends (read: those I've actually met in real life or people from here that I know are cool but just live too damn far away).
When I logged on tonight, I had 100 friend requests*. 100. And not a single person I would ever want to know, nor a band I would ever want to hear or see. Sheesh.
Did this happen to you guys too? I figure I'm not alone in this, and if my extremely normal headshot garners that many, what happens when you flash some skin???
No, I am not going to test that.
*One day later, I'm up to 250 requests. The virtual world is a scary scary place.

I've noticed there are some people who gravitate towards the default Top 8 for whatever reason, I'm guessing maybe newness or Top-8ness may affect friend request frequency? Skin certainly doesn't hurt though.
