One of my friends from high school has not only joined the site, but now has a public profile. This is exciting. He's the first one of my OG buddies on the site. Now it's just time to WRITE A JOURNAL NATE!!! So I can comment in it and give you all the love and due respect.

The weekend was great. I went out three nights in a row. Now, I usually don't even go out three times in a quarter, so this was groundbreaking news.

Pink champagne and hot tubs.

Dancing downtown withMobProd, followed the next morning by a veiwing of "The Ring." Subsequently, for the past 24 hours + I have been raging a small war with my...

I have it on good authority that you saw the less scary of the two. The Japanese one is supposed to make the Spielberg one look like a Care Bears movie. But I haven't seen either of them.

You're in good company... There are some horror films that I just can't handle, but then there are those that I love. Pet Cemetery freaked my shit, but not nearly as much as Exorcist or Amityville Horror. Those latter two come on and I gotta run. Just too creepy because there's this bizarre plausibility about them. The filmmakers were just too good at dragging me into the stories and the characters, the worlds in which these inexplicable and horrible things could happen. Just thinking about them makes me want to do a Simpsons marathon! On the other hand, I love the first Alien movie! I guess that when it comes to outer space sci-fi/horror, the plausibility factor drops so severely that I just don't get as scared.

But Beezer... I gotta tell you... What Lies Beneath was so trite that I couldn't have gotten frightened by it if I woke up in the middle of the night and it was in bed next to me with its head cut off and blood was everywhere. But please forgive my filmschoolgeekiness! I do sincerely respect your skittishness at even bad scary movies. And don't worry, it sounds like you have a healthy flight/flight faculty. The one that you don't want to trip off too easily is the feed/fuck mechanism.

ugh. I feel like a little hunk-o-chunk. I'm just super out of shape. But I'm about to combat this problem by propelling myself backwards and forwards, trusting my wrists and ankles to do feats of impossible strenght. Otherwise known as: Gymnastics.

I force fed myself and icky breakfast this morning because it tasted like shit, but it was really good for me. Now my tummy...

It's been a hard week.

this may be a long entry.

I feel stretched as thin and transparent as fishing wire right now. This week has been busy, demanding, and disappointing for me. Thank jeebus for the moments of joy I've also had this week, so it hasn't been a complete disaster. I've been upset, but unwilling to show it. It's so exhausting to convince...

Went out last night to drown my sorrows. But one drink and I felt sick. I suppose it's been awhile since I've had anything to drink. And I've been eating simple, mostly vegan food lately. So I promptly took a break from the club, went next door and got a biiiig greasy slice of pizza. It settled my stomach some, but there was no more...

Shit! You didn't say there was gonna be dancing! Dagnabbit.

The only reason I didn't come up was 'cause I didn't feel like socializing with a bunch of people I didn't know, but if I could have danced...

Well today was a shit day. It would have been a great day if I wasn't in such a shit mood. I've been auditioning for a couple of shows the past three days. I made it to the final cut of the final callbacks. Last night I was there from 6 to 10:45. And then I didn't fucking get cast, even though I tore it...

Those are pretty fuckin cool.
I am totally jealous of your gymnastic skills.
Auditions suck like piglets on a sow. Really, that's why I'm not famous. I just cant stand auditioning.
Why can't they just tell how much cooler I am than all the other people!!!
PS it was FABULOUS seeing you even if just for a few minutes, really a highlight of my BBQ for me!!!
kiss
sugarfish:
Oh wow. FASCINATING flowers.
Yeah... auditioning is a weird, weird thing. It fucks me up way more than I like to admit. In fact, I'll be wondering why I'm morose for a few days and then it will hit me... Oh yeah, I never got cast in this or that or got a callback for it, or that one audition I had sucked... Just keep auditioning and training. And read Linda Buzell's book, How To Make It In Hollywood. Cheesy title? Yes. Great book for actors and anyone else in Hollywood? Yes.

Zech using kiscicas account: Im sorry you had a rough night. I wish I could do something to help you. I know its no consolation, but I hope you know that I've missed talking to you very very much. You are such a wonderful person and it breaks my heart that as smart as I am, I am not smart enough to help you avoid bad moments. If I could, please know I would at any cost.

So much love
your friend
