I just found out that a little boy who goes (went) to the camp I work at died. He was 9, he was in third grade and his name was Conor Bell, he has a twin sister Carly and an older brother Chad. I'm a third grade counselor so I saw him every day for attendance. He was playing goalie in a soccer game and was kneed in the head when he bent down to pick up the ball, and died from the resulting injury.

I'm so sad. He was such a nice kid.

I keep seeing his smile with one front tooth longer than the other, his knobbly little knees, the red t-shirt he always wore, and his fluffy hair. And his twin sisters smile. Breaks my heart.
