now I'll leave you with one of my charming poems which has been published in deconstruction quarterly:
1.
I sleep like a sack of potatoes on your couch
You say it's okay because I have no where else to go
The words stick to the inside of my brain like fly paper
and I can't quite get them out. I can't find the words
to call you right anymore
say things that would bring you to this side of the bed
rest your head in the crook of my neck
say my neck smells of pollen
my nipples are flower buds.

You say you worry about me all the time
has some man taken hold of my arms
locked them behind my back?
You say you can't get emotionally involved.
I tell you I don't want anything that is not emotionally involved.
Sex is not so important anymore.
The rain is coming down in buckets.
You make me laugh
then cover my mouth

I showed you an x-ray of my teeth
you marvel at their perfection
and drag my hand into the inside
