i don't really know anything about allergies, or eggs for that matter. i would be very leary to give him eggs again for awhile. allergies, don't happen the first time they happen after the food/product has been tried over and over again. that means that if you give him eggs again, there is a (SMALL, but still scary) chance the reaction coudl be worse.
