Here are some the goings on that have been going on in the past few weeks of my life:
DEADMAU5 AND CRYSTAL CASTLES AND MSTRKRFT ALL ROCKED THE TORONTO SKYDOME!!!
It was epic in the true sense of the word. I had known for a few months that Deadmau5 was going to be in town, but I hadn't bought tickets because I prefer to see him at smaller venues. However, two or three days before the show it was announced that both Crystal Castles and MSTRKRFT were opening. I couldn't NOT go, as those are three of my all time favourite music makers, plus they're all Toronto kids (though they're all too busy touring the world to play here much these days). It was blissful madness with around 20,000 people rocking out with the Mau5 and friends.
Here's a crappy cell phone pic of the huge light system Deadmau5 had going on:

Two thirds of my little brothers came through town with their band as part of a 31 day tour they were doing across Canada, and stayed at my place for a couple days. I don't get to see them very often, so we had a lot of catching up and partying to cram into the little bit of time we had. When they were gone I was left with a large pile of empties and a lot of fun and fuzzy memories.

In further news, my bully of a cat got the dog to reluctantly cuddle on the couch for a bit.
