I'm always looking for good covers and/or reinterpretations of older songs, no matter from which genre they originally come or which genre the were covered / reinterpreted to. One of my all time favorites is and will always be this one:
I actually hate the original song. I never liked Simon & Garfunkel. But this new interpretation kicks ass so much! :)
And then there is this masterpiece by the unmatched Paul Anka:
