I'm back from Los Angeles, and I have a ton of pictures!

Los Angeles, a nice place to visit.... some smog.

I'm glad I went to LA. Everyone in the world should go sometime. (just not all at once! the traffic is bad enough!) I thoroughly enjoyed myself while there. There is an endless amount of things to do, and I didnt have time to do even a fraction of it.

The J. Paul Getty Museum.

This place is indescribable. My pictures do it no justice at all. Go there! If you live in LA and haven't you are an ignoramus!!!! No one wants to be an ignoramus! GO!
Besides a $7 parking fee it's free. You will be inspired.

an obligatory picture of Mann's Chinese Theater

and the star walk

RAWR! The Natural History Museum.

diorama diarrhea cha cha cha

This was my longest trip to the beach. I spent all of low tide looking at the tide pools.

My friend Bob's authentic 1926, 82-foot schooner. Wheeee!!!!

A slightly bigger tall ship we passed. (just a replica, pffft!)

China Town! I ate here and bought a bunch of junk from the souvenir shops. Tourist!

The great wall mural of Chinatown.

I wish I could spend more time in Chinatown.

Part of the Berlin Wall at the Reagan Presidential Library.

The real treat is the view from up there.

home again home again jiggidy jig

I did so much more than this while in Los Angeles, I wish I had pictures of it all. The little rockabilly dive that my friend Perry took me to, where all these mod kids were dancing and the music was fantastic. All the walking around west Hollywood I did with doctashock, the crazy bum that threatened to beat doctashock's ass, the scientologist dude trying to sell us the dianetics book, The Burgundy Room, the crooked security guard at The Knitting Factory that hustled us each out of $10, the very cold looking call girl that was being heckled by an SUV full of frat boys. Hanging out with a bunch of good people from the Filmmaker's Lounge. The little Indian restaurant that I took my Aunt Karen to lunch at. Watching the surfers and drum circle at Huntington beach. Driving in the wonderful traffic. Taking the Metro. The crazy guy on the subway. All the drunks to whom I gave spare change and cigarettes. Getting lost. All the vegetarian food. My wonderful uncle and aunt who let me stay at their house, and use their car when ever I wanted.

It was sad to go back home, but there will be more adventures here or somewhere in the future.
