Good news and bad news SG.
I'd like to start off with the good news. The surgery went well, as you can tell I'm still typing away. My wrist is in a splint for the next 5 days. I was told that I'd more than likely be able to drive my manual car, but waiting until tomorrow to see how it feels.
My shoulder has a blue haze to it, makes it look like a smirf jizzed on me, but hey, I'm not taking a shower until I get a bag to cover up the ace bandage. Stitches are supposed to come out in about a week so I'll be fixed and back to my old self, minus the nasty cyst that was on my wrist. So yay!
Onto the bad news...
My "knight in shining armour" became just another asshole who didn't deserve me. He actually admitted treating me like shit since he got home over 2 weeks ago. I stated my mind, telling him that I wanted to see him, and that I wanted him to party with my family for the holiday, and he went off on me.
Goes to show, don't hold someone on a pedistol (spelling?) if they really aren't worth your time to begin with.
So I am yet again single, and vow to myself to never let this happen again. I know it probably will, because I am young and full of hopeless love, but I am learning from this experience and hopefully it proves as helpful.
I will enjoy the rest of my summer, and move on. I am a strong, indepedent woman who doesn't need a man to complete her.
It would be nice to have someone to cuddle with though..
