Okay so I just watched Wes Anderson's Fantastic Mr. Fox, and cripes I love this film. I haven't unexpectedly loved a film like this since (500) Days of Summer. The flick has a lot of charm and is pretty fantastically funny.
Everyone from George Clooney and Jason Schwartzman to Willem Dafoe are hilarious.
Go watch this flick.

i just watched a clockwork orange yesterday. didn't really care for it. it dragged a bit in places, and i have a really short attention span. i blame the add for my opinion on that one. and i have yet to see the ultimate cut, but watchmen definitely makes my top 10. i agree with your list for the most part, with the exception of the movies i have yet to see. i love love LOVE american beauty. i'm not even sure why, but that movie always amazes me.

WOOO!!! Hurt Locker wins Best Picture and Best Director. I wish Inglourious Basterds would have won Best Original Screenplay though. It's okay, Christoph Waltz still won Best Supporting Actor.
