Hey it's Thanksgiving, what am I thankful for? Honestly? I'm thankful I quit my last job and don't have to see my bosses/ aunt and uncle anymore.
What am I not thankful for? Well it's Thanksgiving, which means a family party, which means I will have to see my ex bosses/ aunt and uncle...
I'm also thankful for a bunch of other stuff, but it's...

Haha, you're awesome. Good luck!
Applying to Universities makes me feel like I have done nothing with my life. I already knew this, but I mean, they didn't have to rub it in like that. Whatever, as long as I've applied the folks are happy, and when I get my rejection letters they'll have no choice to support my attending film school. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
That's all I got.
Oh! I do...

The process has begun for me to apply to the various universities around here. Doesn't matter if I'm applying to Cal States or UC's, I'm getting rejected anyway, but whatever, it makes the folks happy to see me apply, and it'll give me some ammunition to go to film school.
All the Scott Pilgrim events have ended... so you know, for the 2 of you...

Good, so I can quit being jealous of the Scott Pilgrim goodness.
Manny grows on you, I didn't watch last year but I netflixed the first season and can see why it's popular and he definitely gets better after time, but yeah pretty annoying at first.
That's cool about Schwartzman, I have always liked the guy, good to know it transfers over into real life.

Woke up at 5:30 this morning to run out to Amoeba in Hollywood to line up for the Scott Pilgrim Blu Ray. But why, you may ask did I wake up so fucking early(for me at least) to drive 40 minutes so I could line up in the cold for 3 hours to buy something that I could find just about anywhere?
Well, that would...

That's all kinds of awesome. Amazon actually delivered mine a day early, so when I got off work last night I got to watch it. Since I live in such a small town it never made it here, so I have been hearing of the awesomeness for a while. I gotta say, I loved it. Watching it I got the same feeling I had when I was reading the books, I totally understood the changes they had to make to get the whole story in, and they made sense in a way that a lot of movies get wrong with crunching subject for time.
Scott Pilgrim pretty much proves to me that Edgar Wright can do no wrong, I mean I knew it because of Spaced, adn Shaun and Hot Fuzz, but this was adapted material not original to him, so right there just adds a level of awesome to his resume.

Conan starts tonight, you should probably watch it.
Oh also!
... no that's it.

Pulp Fiction was my favorite movie of all time for quite a while before it was eventually dethroned by quite a few films, then today in class, while discussing the auteur theory the professor decides to play a bit from the flick.
Now you have to understand, I've seen it upwards of 10 times, I know all the lines and bits of dialogue, the whole...

Brilliant
So in this now admittedly embarrassing obsession with Scott Pilgrim, I can add two more things I have gone out of my way to do to see the film again and see Edgar Wright and the stars.
On Monday I went to a screening of the flick at the Egyptian Theater, it was moderated by Guillermo Del Toro and had a Q&A by Edgar Wright,...

Aw, I'm sorry It actually looks pretty good. I'm just waiting for a good link to come up online so I can watch it. So far the only ones I've found are dubbed over in Russian haha!

So far the only ones I've found are dubbed over in Russian haha!So I have now watched the first episode of Frank Darabont's The Walking Dead twice, and fuck do I love it. It's interesting cause it creates an effect for me very similar to the first time I watched Unforgiven.

I think when the man is trying to will himself to shoot his zombified wife to spare his son the pan of seeing her all the time was the big scene for me. I liked how they fleshed those characters out from their brief apperances in the book, and really like where it looks like this show is going.

It was indeed intense and pretty moving, just goes to show what can happen when you take source material seriously. I just saw that it drew 5.3 million viewers the best ever for AMC, so that's good news there.
Glad to hear you've voted, I'll get that done tomorrow, and you're right it is one of our best rights.
