Just got back from dinner with a family member who wanted to take me out for a drink, and while I was initially dreading it, it was actually pretty nice. We were gonna go to J Town for sushi but since I got called in to work tomorrow we decided to go to an equally delicious and far closer place called Sushi Kumon. I dug it a lot, had a big bowl of sashimi on rice as well as some sake, which, if I do say so myself, may very well be my new preferred drink. I don't know, beer hasn't really connected with me, on a good day it tastes okay, on a bad day it tastes like moldy ass with rubbing alcohol and carbonated. The chilled sake I had tonight though, damn that was tasty. I dug it the most. Only problem was I had a whole damn bottle and I don't even feel slightly buzzed. I guess that's a good thing.
All this got me thinking though, what are your beers of choice? I'm looking for all sorts of recommendations, both beers I've had so far have been wheat ales so maybe I should try something else, what do you guys dig?

Yeah, I never liked beer until the first time I decided to get drunk, then I could handle it just fine. PBR is good everyday beer. I like IPAs when going microbrew and just in general, they can be a little bitter, but I fucking love em.
I can't drink Miller Lite, and Coors light isn't very good as far as I am concerned, Budweiser products are more where it's at for me. Hmm I could probably go on and on. lol
