Has anybody out there ever seen Skins? Well if you like it then please ignore this post.
Yesterday I decided to try that show out. My friend recommended it to me, and I figured, why the hell not, she has pretty similar tastes in film and tv as I do. So it's on Netflix Instant Stream, so I start up the first episode.
At 6 minutes I had to turn it off, I fucking hated what I was watching. She tells me to at least finish the first episode. So I force myself to do so. I miss the 43 minutes of my life I could have spent doing something else.
I don't know, maybe I'm just the wrong audience for this, but I hated just about everything about the show, the setup, the oversexed teenagers, the stereotypical storyline, and oh my god the fucking characters. I actually wanted to wish bodily harm upon every single character. I'm not too violent a person, but I wanted to strangle the life out of Tony, this would be after he already got the living shit kicked out of him by somebody else. I hated his character 2 minutes into the show starting.
I'd like for the record to show that this is all based on my viewing of one episode, and if you like the show, then please ignore me. However, if you haven't seen the show, then DON'T FUCKING DO IT!!!
