So I was talking to my friend earlier, and she often tells me about this boyfriend, and that boyfriend, but then I found out something, she's only been on ONE date.

I could not understand how that was possible. As she explains it, just because you have a boyfriend doesn't mean you dates. She said, they would do stuff, but it was usually just a result of being bored and going out to kill time. She says, "I've been with too many guys who didn't treat me well to think too much about the romance aspect of it all."
I deem this to be unacceptable.Are you fucking serious? What the hell has happened to our society man? Are we so fucking warped that we've lost the will to be a decent human being? This is not fucking right. I'm not saying a date is something where we both have to dress up and go to a fancy restaurant. I'm not even saying all dates have to be the traditional thing where the guy pays for all of it. I don't care if we go dutch. What I do care about though, is the fact that they never seemed to care that she was their girlfriend. Well then, what the fucks the point of any of it then? Just to have someone to screw?

haha ok. sounds like a plan to me. I might not be able to make it out there next summer after all though, the money for my plane tickets might end up going to fund my impending medical bills instead.

I really really really want to go, it's just a matter of financially being able to make it happen or not. If all of these medical expenses hadn't happened so close to Christmas, I could've made it happen, but at this point it's not looking likely. :/
