Life post Comic Con.
You see, for this nerd, the year is split into two distinct sections, Pre Comic Con, otherwise known as PC, and Post Comic Con, otherwise known as PC. Well, we are now in the latter.
First week back from the con is usually a big mess of catching up, both in regular life stuff, and with all the stuff I buy at the con, that didn't happen this week. It was my last week of work, so my focus was on that, unfortunately that caused hell with my class, and I didn't go two of the three days this week. I'm probably screwed. Somebody help me dammit! Kick my ass in gear!
I have finally watched Dr. Horrible, and I have frakking fallen in love with it. I must have watched it like 15 times now, not to mention having purchased the soundtrack. This however, lead to me watching The Guild, which in turn led to me developing the most amazing nerd crush on Felicia Day.
The last day of work was cool, really low key. I do find it funny that the last thing I do at this job is vacuum the carpet(which is not in my job description.) I think it's a fitting way to summarize my time here. It has been nearly two years. There were some nice times, and some horrifying, brain crushing, heart ripping times. In the end though, I'm just glad I got to leave on good terms with everybody. Now comes the hunt for the next job.
Next friday I'm going to China with the family. I think it's funny that when I tell people this, they often refer to it as, "So you're going BACK to China?" I've never been, but you know whatever.
