What follows below is a conversation I had with this guy I didn't know at the Delorean Booth at Wizard Con yesterday. This was all of 15 feet from the SG booth.
"Excuse me"
"Yes?"
"So how's the Con going for you?"
"Good"
"What do you think of that Delorean?"
"It's awesome"
"Did you know that for just $10 you can take 12 pictures with the car? I mean inside and everything too."
"Yeah I know, my friend is doing it right now."
"Yup, $10 is all it takes, I think that's amazing considering Adam West wants $50 and William Shatner wants $75"
"That sounds high, although to be fair those are actual people."
"Yup, $10 is all it takes."
(Thinking) "Fuck dude, you don't need to push the sale any further, he's already doing it"
(Actually Speaking) "Great deal"
"And look at all these wonderful toys"
(Thinking) "Fuck me..."
(Speaking) "...wonderful"
"I love these toys but I can't afford them, by the way that's my sister over there, she's running this booth."
(Thinking) "Then why don't you ask her to do you a solid and give you a toy?"
(Speaking) "That's nice"
"Yup... so I wrote some comics, I think I'm gonna come back tomorrow and hand them out."
"Cool..."
"Yeah, I mean they're basically really great Christian stories, but I don't mind, I have the Lord in my life and she saved me and I'm not ashamed."
(Thinking) "She???"
(Speaking) "That's great."
"Do you have the lord in your heart?"
(Thinking) "Oh my god, please don't rape and kill me then ditch my body in some alley."
(Speaking) "Yes I do."
"That's great, you need to speak about him more, to everybody you meet."
(Thinking) "I'm gonna die, there are so many things I haven't done yet, I haven't even... what the fuck is wrong with his mustache?"
(Speaking) "Yes sir."
"Yes God is great."
(Thinking) "I miss when he was just trying to get me to buy a Delorean, and why does that mustache look so fucked up?!?!"
(Speaking) "Yeah he's a cool guy."
"Well listen I gotta go spread the word of the lord, but if you get a chance, it's only $10 to take a picture with that Delorean."
"Okay then"
I then proceeded to walk very very quickly in the opposite direction, hoping the scary man with the mustache wouldn't find me again... I'm probably gonna have nightmares about this.
I also never found out why his mustache looked so wrong on so many levels.

like that (usually around the last few months of each
year, for some reason..) i pick a little goal, or two, and
just work toward it. it keeps your mind off other things,
and feels awesome when you achieve it.
im gooood. works been pretty fun, and im
getting good at doing nothing during the week,
lol. come join me - we can eat heaps of bad
food, and watch arrested development
